Continuity Advisor Group · Jacksonville, FL

Protection built around people, not perimeters.

Protective intelligence and executive-protection advisory for the families, family offices, firms, and courts that can’t afford to get security wrong.

On the record

Most security is sold on claims. This is the part that can be verified.

01

Three decades protecting principals across 13 countries, including lead protection for a head-of-family detail with an unbroken safety record.

02

Contributor to the ANSI-accredited U.S. standard for executive protection — and to its certification exam.

03

Faculty at the Vehicle Dynamics Institute: protective driving, surveillance detection, EP operations.

04

Published in Security Magazine and The Circuit on executive protection, travel security, and protective driving.

05

Working-group member helping define how the profession trains and measures protection.

06

Called on as an independent voice on standard of care — whether a protection program was adequate to the risk.

The difference

The work that decides whether a principal is actually safe.

Most protection is sold as muscle — presence, posture, the show of force. That is the visible 10%. The other 90% is intelligence, planning, and judgment: the advance, the route, the threat picture, the documented decision that holds up long after the moment has passed.

Continuity Advisor Group is built on that 90%. We design the program, set the standard, and tell you the truth about your risk — whether you run your own detail, retain a firm, or need an independent expert to weigh in when something has already gone wrong.

Quiet, exacting, accountable. Protection built around the person at the center of it.

What we do

Four ways we work.

Core practice

Protective intelligence & risk advisory

Protective surveys, threat assessment, and clear-eyed risk analysis grounded in the national standard — the groundwork that keeps a principal safe before anything goes wrong. For principals and the people who manage their security.

Program

Executive-protection program design

Build or rebuild a protection program that fits the principal’s real life: structure, SOPs, and the day-to-day discipline that keeps protection working — not just present.

Development

Advanced professional development

Field-based instruction for working professionals — surveillance detection, protective driving, and EP operations — built for people who already do the job and intend to do it better.

Independent review

Independent expert review

When the adequacy of a protection program is called into question, I provide independent, standard-based assessment for the families, advisors, and counsel who need a defensible read on what reasonable care required.

Selected writing

Published on the craft itself.

About

Thirty years, one principle.

Greg Threatt — Founder, Continuity Advisor Group

The career started at the bottom of this profession and worked up every rung of it — post security, patrol, investigations, the kind of jobs that teach you what people actually do under pressure. It led to lead protection for a head-of-family detail operating across 13 countries, to family-foundation protection, and eventually to a seat at the table where the profession writes its own standard.

That arc matters because it’s the difference between someone who can stand a post and someone who can tell you whether your entire program is sound. CAG exists for the second question.

The principle underneath all of it hasn’t changed in thirty years: security is a service to a human being, not a wall around an asset. Build it around the person, and the rest follows.
